Blinds are an important part of any property, so it's important that time and effort is dedicated to selecting the correct one for your home or office.
All blinds fitted by ourselves are child safe to the current legislation. Vertical, roller venetian, wooden, roman or pleated blinds with a cord will have a discreet cleat or hook safety device so there are no loose free-hanging cords. These are fitted at a minimum height of 1.5m above the floor. This is now a legal requirement everywhere, even in homes without children. Some blinds may have a special break away chain that pulls apart with excessive force. Some blinds are available without cords. Our knowledgeable surveyor will go through all your options at your home appointment. We always will advise you to keep all cords and chains away from childrens reach and use child safety devices, never tie loose cords or chains together and keep furniture that children could climb on away from windows.
